Darrent Willams- Shot Dead New Years morning (1982-2007) Sean Taylor- Died from injuries from gunshot wound while his house was broken into on Nov. 26 2007 and died at 3:30 am the next day (1983-2007) Marquise Hill- On the evening of May 27, 2007, Hill and his friend, Ashley Blazio, fell off a jet ski in Lake Pontchartrain. According to Hill's agent, Hill "ended up saving her life, keeping her calm until she could grab onto a buoy." She was rescued and sent to Tulane Medical Center. Coast Guard units searched the area. Hill's body was found by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries around 2:15 PM CDT on May 28. (1982-2007) Korey Stringer- During a practice at Vikings training camp he suffered from complications suffered by a heat stroke. (1974-2001) Derrick Thomas- On January 23, 2000, his SUV went off the road near the Kansas City Intl. Airport, he and two passengers were thrown from the car one dying instantly and the other able to walk away, Thomas was paralyzed from the waist down, and later died on February 8, 2000 in Miami due to a massive blood clot. (1967-2000) Damien Nash- He collapsed suddenly following a charity basketball game on February 23, 2007. Nash was found unresponsive at a residence in St. Louis and was later pronounced dead. The charity event was a fundraiser to benefit the Darris Nash Find A Heart Foundation, a charity which raises funds for heart transplant research. Damien had created the charity in honor of his older brother, Darris, a recent heart transplant recipient.
