It wasn't pretty. There was lots of crying and unwillingness on LC's part to let go of daddy, not to mention the previous year of daddy clinging when she was perfectly capable of skiing. But daddy played stern daddy, and I know what's right for you daddy, and you'll cry until you do it my way daddy. And in the end it was the right thing to do for LC and her family. We endured looks from other strangers who obviously thought, "you're a mean daddy." But mean daddy was correct daddy and now I'm free!
